Basalt can be found on the surface at the far right of the map. The Player is not able to place the block once it is taken.

It can be broken by Miniaturizor MK V and Explosive (contrary to Ancient Basalt that can be broken only by Explosive). It also instantly breaks down when lava pressure near to it reaches 10.

It can be found at the Volcano Mountain.
